Avery did wonderful on her first day of Kindergarten. I was so proud of her. She goes to Donald Elementary and her teacher is Mrs. Grimes. I walked her to school since we live right around the corner and walked home. She didn't show much hesitation and was excited to start Kindergarten. When she got to class, I just gave her a brief hug, kiss and a "Have a Great Day". I was surprised that I did not cry. She did decide that she didn't want to hold my hand in the school. :(
Avery had to get on the bus to a new after school program, but she did great with that and when I went to pick her up, the daycare told me that she was standing outside smiling waiting on the bus. I was so proud.
