3rd grade
Avery is now in the third grade at Donald Elementary. Her teacher is Ms. Head. Avery is loving going to school and her teacher. She actually looked forward to summer ending and school starting. Avery is so wonderful with Lauren, much better than I ever expected her to be. Avery seems to have a hard time adjusting on Sundays and coming home from her dads. She cries on Sundays that she misses her dad.

Pumpkin Patch
We had a wonderful time at the pumpkin patch today with Grammy Rose, Stephen, Lauren, Ella, Everly and Avery. The girls jumped in bouncy house, rode the train, did the maze, merry go round and got their faces painted. After that, we went to lunch with Aaron, Brenna, Emma, Nana and then off to the Farmer's Market.

Cheer Tumble
Avery switched from gymnastics to Cheer Tumble this year. She is learning some tumbling and cheering. It's cute to watch her. She loves when I watch her. She is constantly looking to make sure I am watching her.

Things we did this summer
Stephen stayed home with Avery about 1/2 the summer while looking for a new job. They went to the movies, went on bike rides, went to the watermark and just hung out at home. Avery really loved being able to stay home part of the summer.
Here are some things that Avery likes now
- lots of tv
- gymnastics (although she starts tumbling next week)
- Justice (the clothing store)
- having her friends over to play
- swimming

Ugh - Too Long
I can't believe it's been almost a year since I have written anything in this blog. It has been a crazy year though. Lauren is almost one year old and Avery is getting ready to start the second grade. The school called today to tell me her teacher is Mrs. Loyd. Over the past year, Avery has been a wonderful sister. Very caring and adoring to Lauren. Avery has also been very helpful to me. I expected her to be jealous of Lauren since Avery had been an only child for almost 7 years, but she surprised me with being wonderful about it. I would have understood jealousy, but it was a nice surprise.
